Prior to moving into Creative Development and Producing, Guy was an actor, director and musician for 20 years. He made his professional and West End acting debut in 'Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story' as Jerry Allison of The Crickets at the Victoria Palace Theatre, he also plays the same role in the movie of the production. He returned to Buddy in 2002 this time to play Tommy and Buddy Holly (Strand Theatre).

Guy wrote and directed the national tour of the 1980's musical-comedy 'Walking on Sunshine'. He also directed the London revivals of 'How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying' (Landor Theatre) featuring Hollywood actor the late Don Fellows and 'The Fantasticks' (Pentameters Theatre). He was Assistant Director of Charles Miller's critically acclaimed 'When Midnight Strikes' (Finborough Theatre) which is hopeful of a West End transfer and completed a full reading on Broadway in December 2011. He was Resident Director on the national tour of the Broadway show 'The Wedding Singer' starring Jonathan Wilkes and Natalie Casey and directed the first London Actor-Musician pantomime 'Rock 'n' Roll Aladdin' at The Shaw Theatre.

As an actor, Guy appeared in 'The Next Big Thing' at the Players Theatre playing Rick Astley(!), prior to that he appeared as Schlomo in 'Fame' (Aldwych Theatre). Other theatre roles include: Eugene and Doody in 'Grease' (UK Tour), Schlomo in 'Fame' (UK Tour), 'Elvis' and 'The Sound of Fury' (UK Tours for Bill Kenwright), 'Three Steps to Heaven' (Chester Gateway & UK Tour), 'Itchycoo Park' (UK Tour) and 'Summer in the City' (UK tour).

Recording work includes Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens on the studio cast recording of 'Heaven Can Wait' (Tiger Records), 'Love & Spare Parts' (Refit Records) and cast recording of 'Buddy' (1st Night Records). Guy is frequently Executive Producer for MaKiNG Records and produced Julie Atherton's best selling album 'A Girl Of Few Words', also 'Yesterday Today Tomorrow' by Gemma Atkins, 'Lost in the Wilderness' by Nick Wyschna, 'Clear Blue Sky' by Marc Joseph, the original cast album of 'When Midnight Strikes' and Brenda Edwards hit single 'You Know How To Love Me'.

Guy is a member of the band Jackdaw4 who recently provided the hit theme tune to the BBC's football comedy "The Cup" and drama "Vexed". Their third album "Eternal Struggle For Justice" was voted album of the week by The Sun Newspaper and their 4th album is currently being recorded. More details www.jackdaw4.com
